Residential Food Scrap Collection Program Expanded to include Hercules, Pinole, and Unincorporated County Areas

On January 1, 2014, the residential food scrap curbside collection program was expanded to include all residents who live within RecycleMore's member agency communities of  El Cerrito, Hercules, Pinole, Richmond, San Pablo, and the unincorporated County Areas.  Residents who live within these areas can now put put food prep scraps, raw and cooked leftovers, and food-soiled paper along with yard trimmings into their green waste carts for curbside collection. For a limited time or while supplies last, residents of Hercules, Pinole, and the unincorporated County areas are eligible to receive a food scrap collection pail for their kitchen counter (one per household). Residents of these areas may sites listed below.  Supplies are limited. Residents are encouraged to call ahead to check on availability and observe hours as listed below.  Residents of Richmond, San Pablo and El Cerrito should contact their respective city halls on the availability of food pails in their city.
