RecycleMore is hosting a FREE Repair Workshop & Clothing Swap at the Hercules Public Library (109 Civic Drive, Hercules, CA 94547) on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 1pm-4pm, for residents of West Contra Costa County, in partnership with Reuse Alliance and Hercules Public Library.
Volunteers and specialized repair professionals will be on-hand to repair* your items – lamps, small appliances, small furniture items, textiles, bikes, and more!

If you’d like to bring an item to be repaired, please register the item here. (Pre-registering allows Reuse Alliance to prepare for your item!)
Clothing Swap
This event will also include a Clothing Swap. Please bring clothing items and accessories (clean and in good shape, no socks or undergarments please!) to share and bring home something new to you! More about clothing swaps here.
*Reuse Alliance cannot guarantee your item(s) will be repaired, depending on the existing damage or breakage, ability of volunteer fixers, and availability of materials for repair. Note Reuse Alliance cannot work on microwaves and can’t repair cell phones but happy to refer you to local professionals who can. In addition, the textile department is not able to perform the following:
- Replacing zippers
- Repairing shoes, leather, or vinyl materials
- Performing alterations (making garments bigger/smaller)
- Replacing rivets/grommets
- Hemming certain fabrics (stretchy fabric, sleek/luxury fabrics e.g. prom dresses)
If you are in need of garment hemming, the requirement is if you can please pin your garment to the desired length before you arrive.
Do you like fixing things?
