RFP Questions & Answers

RecycleMore has responded and answered questions regarding this RFP. You may view the answers here or download the document.

Question 1:

Can RecycleMore clarify what they are looking for from proposers regarding item 7 on the list of tasks, “Assist with organizing the data obtained during county records inspections”?

RecycleMore Answer:

RecycleMore is considering contracting with Contra Costa County to perform the required edible food generator contract and records inspection process. This program is still under development and will not be a large part of this consultant project. A consultant that brings some knowledge of the new edible food recordkeeping requirements and can advise RecycleMore during that process, will be sufficient.

Question 2:

Is RecycleMore open to approaches that propose phone/email outreach to select edible food generators and recovery organizations as opposed to only in-person visits?

RecycleMore Answer:

While RecycleMore feels that in person site visits will be more effective in reaching decision makers and obtaining needed information, RecycleMore is willing to accept proposals that include a hybrid approach that includes some phone and email inquiries. If these phone and email inquiries are inconclusive, site visit attempts will need to be conducted.
